Crystal Grove Manor began in 2011 as a travel column and grew into one of Canada's most-read independent hotel guides. We are not a booking engine and we are not owned by a hotel chain.
Our small team of correspondents pays their own way, stays anonymously wherever possible, and writes about what actually happens between check-in and check-out — the good, the frustrating and the surprising. We never publish prices, we never accept payment for a good word, and every review is signed by the writer who stayed there.
